Designing the Future: Inside Boom’s Propulsion Team

At Boom Supersonic, engineers aren’t just designing an engine. They’re redefining what’s possible.

“At Boom, I finally get to build the product that I’ve always dreamed of: a supersonic aircraft that I can one day ride on. That’s the opportunity of a lifetime.”

Quinn Kelly

Sr. Director of Propulsion

“At Boom, I can apply everything I’ve learned to something brand new. It’s the most rewarding work I’ve ever done. Here, the boundaries are gone. You can stretch yourself in ways that just aren’t possible anywhere else.”

Kevin Song

Lead Propulsion Engineer

“One of the most exciting parts of working at Boom is the opportunity to own the entire engineering lifecycle. Here, you don’t just design a system—you get to analyze it, build it, and test it too. It’s a rare opportunity compared to many other places and one that helps us grow into a stronger, more dynamic team.”
