As VP, Overture Chief Engineer, Brian leads the design, test, and certification of Overture’s control law, electronic flight control, and electro-mechanical systems. A veteran in the aerospace industry, Brian brings more than 25 years of product development and production experience to Boom’s engineering team.

Prior to Boom, Brian was an ODA unit member and led fly-by-wire flight controls design and development programs across the aerospace industry, including roles at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, Georgia and Lockheed Martin Aerospace in Marietta, Georgia. Brian began his career at Lockheed Martin where he worked predominantly on continued airworthiness projects, but spent considerable time developing numerical methods skills while performing analyses of the many complex systems installed on the C-5 Galaxy.

Brian earned a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. When he is not working, Brian enjoys spending time skiing, mountain biking, and stand up paddling with his wife and sons.
