Aaron Taffet is Head of Finance at Boom Supersonic, where he leads financial strategy, capital planning, and investor engagement as the company advances Overture and Superpower toward commercial service. He brings a blend of investment, operational, and transaction experience, helping guide Boom through its next phase of scale and execution.

Previously, Aaron served as Director of Strategic Capital at Boom, leading capital formation efforts, shaping long-term funding strategy, and supporting key corporate development initiatives during a pivotal period of growth.

Before joining Boom, Aaron held leadership roles across private equity, venture capital, and operating companies, with experience spanning financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, M&A, and debt and equity transactions. His career has consistently focused on scaling growth-oriented businesses in complex capital environments.

Aaron holds a degree in Mathematical Economic Analysis from Rice University, He grew up in Denver, just down the road from Boom’s headquarters, and is proud to help build a large-scale aerospace manufacturing capability in his home state.
