John Bonanni is Chief of Staff at Boom Supersonic, where he partners with executive leadership to drive strategic alignment, operational execution, and cross-functional coordination. He focuses on enabling organizational clarity and helping translate company priorities into actionable initiatives across the business.

Since joining Boom, John has supported multiple aspects of the company’s growth, previously serving in commercial leadership roles where he contributed to strategic planning and business operations. His work spans organizational effectiveness, executive initiatives, and the integration of long-term strategy with day-to-day execution.

Prior to Boom, John held roles across business development, strategy, and technology leadership in both aerospace and advanced technology organizations. His experience includes supporting growth initiatives, improving operational processes, and working at the intersection of technical and business functions.

Earlier in his career, John was in the Intelligence Community with the United States Air Force, where he led teams responsible for space systems analysis, collections management, and mission planning. His background reflects a consistent focus on complex, high-stakes environments requiring analytical rigor and coordinated execution.

John holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and a degree in Astronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
