As XB-1 Chief Engineer, Warren leads the XB-1 flight test program, currently underway in Mojave, CA. Warren has been an integral part of the XB-1 program for over six years, including detail design and release, first part fabrication, build and integration, and aircraft testing – culminating in XB-1’s first flight.
Warren has 25 years of experience in the aerospace industry, spanning military aircraft, various commercial programs at several OEMs, and recent involvement in human space flight. Prior to joining Boom, he acted as a Certified Principal Engineer on the Orion Heatshield team after progressing through a variety of engineering roles focused on structural design in support of programs, including 747-8 wing and fuselage, Mitsubishi Regional Jet, F-35, and the 737 AEW&C platform. His expertise spans detail design, engineering support of multiple first-article builds, and large-scale structural testing.
Warren earned his Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace) from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. Outside of work, Warren is a husband and father and enjoys science fiction, skating around in circles, and sharing some laughs on a pickleball court.
