Christopher Wendel is a co-founder of Volta Charging and has served as Volta’s President since April 2013. Wendel brings extensive investing experience to this role. He has held previous positions as a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs from August 1993 to June 2006, as a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers from July 2006 to October 2008, and as a Senior Managing Director at Nomura Securities from October 2008 to June 2012. 

Wendel holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) in international relations from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) in international political economy from Tufts University — The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Wendel was past Board Chair of the Blue Oak School in Napa.
