As Vice President of Enterprise Technology, David leads the software engineering, IT, and PLM teams at Boom. Among his duties, David is responsible for custom software, including: flight test control room, supersonic flight planning, high performance computing, and an aircraft conceptual design framework. David brings more than 30 years of professional software experience to Boom, having worked with such companies as Dow Jones, David Sarnoff Research Center, iRobot, Hess Oil, and Wave Systems, filling roles such as CTO, SVP Product Development, and managing domestic and international technical teams. David’s software has run in noteworthy organizations, including the U.S. Marines in Bosnia, an oil refinery, Boston University Hospital Cancer Center, Dow Jones real‐time newsroom, U.S. Forestry Service, inside Diebold ATMs– his software was also factory-installed on hundreds of millions of Dell laptops.
David holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Computer Science. In his spare time, he is a glider pilot and past President of a flight school.
