As Director of Flight Sciences for the Overture Program, Anderson leads a diverse group of engineers responsible for Applied & Experimental Aerodynamics, Stability & Control, Performance, Thermal, Acoustics, and Loads & Dynamics.
With over 25 years of industry experience, Anderson worked at Gulfstream Aerospace, Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems, and Jacobs Space Exploration Group. Anderson has worked on a variety of commercial and military aircraft programs including the P-3, C-27, C-5, S-3, G-IV, G-V, G650, G-700, and G-800, as well as several developmental manned and unmanned projects. Prior to joining Boom Supersonic in 2022, Anderson was serving as the Element Discipline Lead Engineer for Induced Environments for the EUS as part of the NASA Artemis Program. He is excited to be a part of a program returning supersonic travel to the commercial market.
Anderson graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree as well as a Masters of Science degree through the school of Aerospace Engineering. In his spare time, Anderson enjoys hiking and kayaking with his wife and daughters.
