With nearly two decades of experience in complex aerospace system design, build, and testing, Nick Sheryka brings a wealth of technical expertise to Boom. A member of the original team that developed and constructed the XB-1 demonstrator, Nick recently led flight test engineering for Boom and now serves as the head of Boom’s engine programs.

Prior to joining Boom, Nick contributed to a range of pioneering projects, including hybrid-electric flying cars and next-generation fighter aircraft technology demonstrators. He also led subsystem development on the world’s largest aircraft and holds qualifications to operate three different types of naval nuclear reactors.

When he’s not at work pushing the boundaries of aeronautical innovation, Nick can be found in his garage building experimental home-built aircraft. He is also a licensed Commercial Pilot.
