Steve Friedman is a Partner at Darsana Capital Partners, where he helps lead the firm’s fundamental equity investments across industries including aerospace, defense, and technology. Since joining Darsana at its inception in 2014, he has contributed to the development of the firm’s long-term, concentrated investment approach and works closely with Darsana portfolio companies and their management teams to evaluate opportunities in complex, innovation-driven sectors.

Prior to Darsana, Friedman worked at Blackstone and Eton Park Capital Management in New York. He earned dual degrees through the University of Pennsylvania’s Huntsman Program, graduating with a BS in Economics and Finance from The Wharton School and a BA in International Studies. He also serves on the board of the DeGregorio Family Foundation. He lives with his family in New York City.
